Every year those who sacrifice their lives are only given one day to honor their commitment to this country and our safety as we take for granted the liberty we have as citizens. Then only days later we are forced to celebrate sin as "Pride Month" kicks off with sexual deviance being paraded on our free streets for weeks. Our priorities have become misplaced. It is past time for America to refocus on its values and support the troops that allow us to celebrate things such as gay pride specifically because of the liberty fought for by our brave men and women. This is a petition to make June Memorial Month and place Pride Day in May. With June leading into the 4th of July, the day our country gained its Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness, it is only appropriate that we give our soldiers a full month to celebrate what they fight for every day.
